"Standard melee unit" refers to the class of unit including Warriors, Swordsmen, Longswordsmen, Spearmen, Pikemen, unique units replacing them, Landsknechte and Spain's Tercios. Melee unit - In this guide, "melee unit" refers to military units that don't have a ranged attack. Melee mounted / Mounted melee unit - Horsemen, Knights, Lancers and Cavalry, along with all unique units replacing them (with the exception of Camel Archers and Keshiks.)
